--- Comment #2 from Bartek Pietrasiak <pietras sp gmail com>  2009-10-24 19:24:22 ---
rev.: 1039758

Can you tell me whether this envs are ok:

export DIGIKAMKDE4=/usr/builds
export KDEDIR=$DIGIKAMKDE4:/usr/lib/kde4
export KDEDIRS=$DIGIKAMKDE4:/usr/lib/kde4
export KDEHOME=$HOME/.kde
export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt4
export
PATH=$DIGIKAMKDE4/bin:/usr/local/bin:$QTDIR/bin:$KDEDIR/bin:$QTDIR/bin:/usr/local/bin:$PATH
export KDETMP=/tmp/$USER-kde4
export KDEVARTMP=/var/tmp/$USER-kde4
export LD_BIND_NOW=42
export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$KDEDIR/lib:$QTDIR/lib:$DIGIKAMKDE4/lib:/usr/lib/kde4:/usr/lib:/usr/lib/kde4/libexec:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export
PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$DIGIKAMKDE4/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig:$PKG_CONFIG_PATH

I wanted to get rid of digikam rpm's in order to have only compiled version,
but after removing I had no themes :/ (and they are in
/usr/builds/share/apps/digikam/themes)

To me this appears to be intended behavior. What should it do?

Yes it is, Marcel. ResizeEvent is handled as well with preview widget.

Perhaps we can change this behavor when we rewrite preview widget with Andi at
Coding Spring next week...

Revisiting this bug, I still cannot see why this behavior is wrong.
(even more, I feel that changing parameters should also cause an update of the
preview, without disabling the widgets. But that's another issue)

With digiKam 5.0.0, this problem is not reproducible.
I close this file now. Don't hesitate to re-open if necessary.
