I don't quite understand where the problem is right now? Did you successfully download the images, but you are not able to access the camera from within digiKam (how did you download them in that case)? Or were you able to download them in the past, but now it is not working anymore? In the first case, you should be able to access the camera also via the cardreader menu entries in digiKam. I never was able to access my Nikon D50 with digiKam, but via the cardreader entry that also shows up, it always works. Like Gilles said, libgphoto2 handles camera access, so if you can access the images via the cardreader slot but not the camera slot, it is defintely a gphoto2 problem. Can you try the cardreader menu entry? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

--- Comment #3 from Lutz <LpMat web de> 2009-07-09 10:46:40 --- Thanx. Workaround: Delete some old Pics+Vids (which have been downloaded earlier) on camera directly by button to increase the amount of Data on the SD-card. Than it works without Error-window. Dont know the difference between "via cardreader" and "somewhat..". I've no cardreader. Plugin my cam direct to usb. Access them via digicam ==> menu "camera" ==> "USB-PTP-Class-Cam" ==> opens a window which shows me the content of cam with buttons to download, delete and so on. The Menu "Camera" ==> "Browse media" dont displays a way to it. But see WORKAROND above. Try to change the state to "Resolved" Thx.
