Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.30.1-desktop-1mnb

tags are well displayed :
- under photos
- in the legend/tags tool in the right panel

no tag is displayed in iptc in the right panel

if i use picasa i does not see any tags

i conclude tags are not copied in the photo

Go to Metadata setup panel and set on right options.

Which image file format you use ?

Which libexiv2 and libkexiv2 you use ? Go to Help/Components Info for details.

Go to Setup metadata panel and check if options to write Tags to files are
enabled (disabled by default)
