Since the upgrading to kde4.2 (mandriva update 03-july-09) Pictures are not
displayed in the main view i just can see them in the batch menu with the tools
(border, convert, etc.). No pictures are dispalyed picture in the albums,
calendar, timeline views. The search don't give result. I tryed to rebuild
thumbnails and it works but there's no display yet. Resynchonisation seems to
do nothing.

Depuis la mise à jour mandriva du ~03/07/09 (passage à KDE4.2) aucune image ne
s'affiche dans la vue principale bien que je puisse les voir dans les outils de
traitement par lot. Du coup j'accède pas non plus aux outils de modification
puisque je ne peux pas sélectionner d'image individuellement.
J'ai tenté la regénération des aperçus qui travaille bien mais ne change pas le
problème. J'ai vérifié que je n'avais pas de filtre actif. J'ai aussi tenté la
resynchronisation avec la base de données mais ça ne semble rien faire.

Sound like a a broken binary compatibility with packages, especially with
digiKam kio slave which are sued to list album contents.

This is not a digiKam problem.

Merci pour la rapidité de la réponse et de la transmission.
Je viens de tester l'interface d'importation de photos et ça fonctionne. Du
coup le bug reste gênant mais pas bloquant.

Immense bravo et merci pour Digikam que j'utilise depuis plusieurs années.
Quel progrès !

Hum... Un simple redémarrage de la machine suffit à régler le problème.

C'est ma première expérience avec le bug tracker. Faut-il que je fasse quelque
chose ?

This problem is relevant of digiKam KIO Slaves and all of these have been
dropped in favor of a multi-threaded interface to query the database.
