Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Reproducible every time.
This is an AMD-64 Kubuntu installation.

Open a picture file to edit it.
click "save as"
delete file extension
type in "png" as file extension
Digikam crashes as the "g" key is clicked.

GDB output with backtrace attached.

Crash appears in KDELibs, not digiKam. This crash have been already reported...
