thank you for your dngconverter.
I wonder if you'd like to include a new function:
checkbox for setting the filesystem date and time to the infos includes in
the exif data

This is, how I have to do it with nativ exiftool:

   exiftool '-DateTimeOriginal>FileModifyDate' $filename

or at the end for the whole directory

   exiftool -r '-DateTimeOriginal>FileModifyDate' .
