There is apparently some support in XMP to embed the license for the object
(the image in this case), as exposed for example on
http://wiki.creativecommons.org/XMP. Support for popular licences would be
convenient.
The various CC and "all rights reserved" would be a good start.

It would be simpler (or maybe a good complement until XMP catches on) than my
adding "some rights may be reserved" in the comments field :)
