[Bug 189102] New: Symlinks from digikam via drag&drop to dolphin

Florian Wozak-2
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189102

           Summary: Symlinks from digikam via drag&drop to dolphin
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.10.0
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: [hidden email]
        ReportedBy: [hidden email]

Version:           0.10.0 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-11-generic

When drag & dropping selected images in the digikam (KDE 4 version) main window
with left mouse key to dolphin, a small dialog should appear providing a
selection whether to
 * copy
 * move
 * symlink

them to the target directory. Dolphin provides this dialog when dragging
arbitrary files/folders with left mouse key to another directory

This feature was perfectly working in the KDE 3 version in combination with
Konqueror

[Bug 189102] Symlinks from digikam via drag&drop to dolphin

--- Comment #1 from Andi Clemens <andi clemens gmx net>  2009-04-08 09:16:34 ---
This is still working. I too have KDE 4.2.2 in combination with Qt 4.5.
Maybe a Kubuntu packaging problem?

It's relevant of Dolphin, not digiKam.
