Optionally allow preloading of all thumbnails for the current view, not only
for the part currently on screen. When scrolling down thumbnails should then be
shown without delay.

I would suggest the following algorithm:
- generates all preview in background, not only the one currently on screen (so
it doesn't stop when every thumbnaisl are generated)
- load first jpeg thumbnails and RAW thumbnail
- and then try to load jpeg full res to compute a proper thumbnail
