This should be possible if set folder view to show location
"nepomuksearch:/tag:<tag>" if tags. Just are updated realtime from digikam.
Example: tag photos with a tag "slideshow" in digikam. Then create folderview
and give as location "nepomuk:/tag:slideshow" and all files with that tag comes
shown.
