Installed from:    Compiled From Sources

digikam crashes if you:

open a picture with the image editor
crop it for example
save as...
change the default format to from jpeg to png (mine was a jpeg image from a
canon EOS camera)

digikam crashes...

I can not confirm this, works fine here.
Which digiKam version are you using?
If compiled from source, do you use latest trunk?
