--- Comment #2 from Patrick <patoche smart+kde gmail com> 2009-01-28 17:24:20 --- When one views a picture with attached GPS info in Digikam, he can click the more info (which, BTW, might need to be renamed in "open service page" or something more explicit) button to be redirected to Google maps and other services. I'd like to have the service http://loc.alize.us to be added to the list of proposed services. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

--- Comment #5 from Patrick <patoche smart+kde gmail com> 2009-08-02 22:03:56 --- Gilles, I don't know but am deducting... If the picture is on Flickr: http://loc.alize.us/#/flickr:[photo-ID] By position: East: 4.381351, North: 50.843583 Same info in Flickr: 50°50'37"N, 4°22'53"E (50.8435, 4.3813) gives http://loc.alize.us/#/geo:50.843583,4.381351,15,k/ Where the 15 is the zoom level and the "k" is ... automatically added to any URL. The placemarks are the ones of pictures on Flickr. Seen the apparent lack of documentation, I am sending a message to the contact email address of the devlopers of loc.alize.us in the hope they will provide us with more info. Heikki Naski <[hidden email]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC| |[hidden email] Ever Confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #6 from Heikki Naski <heikki naski gmail com> 2012-02-08 18:34:54 --- Confirmed on the following setup: Version: 1.9.0 (Using KDE Development Platform 4.6.5 (4.6.5)) OS: Linux Installed from: Kubuntu default repositories Since this is marked as a junior job I made a summary of the task: =What did I do= I select an image. If the image does not have GPS coordinates, I set these coordinates from the main menu: Image -> Geolocation -> Edit coordinates. On the sidebar on the right edge of the screen I click on "Geolocation" (icon of a globe). Then on the bottom right corner of the screen I click on a select list which contains items such as "MapQuest", "Google Maps" etc. and I try to find "loc.alize.us" there. =What happened= I can't find "loc.alize.us" in this list. =What should have happened= I would have found "loc.alize.us" in this list, selected it and then clicked on the button immediately to the right of this select list and "loc.alize.us"-service would have opened a browser window with the map pointing to the coordinates in the image. -- I also played around with the loc.alize.us URL and it seems like it does take the coordinates in the URL like Patrick mentioned. I'm not sure if you can have arbitrary markers on that map since it looks like it adds those markers to all images that are recorded in that service. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
