Is this isolated to JPEG2000 images?
I have recently (May 28) fixed a memory leak affecting all image plugins. Is
this fix included in your version?

Probably not. I was hoping to test this, but as Digikam 1.3.0 depends on
unreleased library code from kde 4.5, I can't.

And no, I'm not going to install SVN versions of kdegraphics on my system in
order to test this, because I'd like to still have a working system. If there
are some instructions on how to statically link digikam to the offending
libraries, then fair enough, but depending on an unreleased version of a
sytstem-wide shared library is a major pain.
