When downloading pictures from the camera to Digikam the thumbnails are shown.
I can then select pictures to download to Digikam.
a) This is very time consuming when there are lots of pictures on the card
b) Usually the thumbnails are not need since I know I want to download all
pictures or say the last 10 or the most current.

Thus: It would be helpful if if was possible to set a parameter for showing a
"detailed view" (name, date, time) instead of the thumbnails

If you want to select all, use CTRL+A.

Details view is available in right sidebar.

We plan to add tooltips for icon in camera iconview.

There is no plan to make a details view file list instead an icon view.
