Hello there,
i think, that here should be a context menu to rotate images in view mode - its
a bit complicated to enter edit mode, rotate it and close - it will be a bit
easier with that context menu.

Well, if it is in SVN version, then its okay... I just didnt had this option in
0.10.0-beta2

The option is given by a plugin from kipi-plugins package (version 0.2.0).
install it and all will be fine

Well, there are old version of kipi-plugins in Debian backports. But thanks for
