Hm, I have the same problem. We are not talking about the aspect ratio crop
here, right?
I should be able to simply open the image editor and mark an image region. This
marked region should now be draggable araoung by clicking into the rectangle
instead of outside?

For me this does not work with 0.9.5~beta3 from debian unstable.
