hello

i have complile digikam on a mandriva 2008.1
and shift + wheel mouse dosen't work in view mode.
page up and page down work wheel.

Moreover, what should "shift + wheel" give?
(Did you try to just use the wheel ?)

With 0.9.4, in preview mode (F3 in Album Gui), SHIFT+Mouse wheel change current photo from current album.

To be sure, in main interface:

1/ you select an album,
2/ you select an image from this album,
3/ you press F3 to toogle interface to preview mode
4/ SHIFT + Mouse wheel change current image in preview area.
5/ Note: CTRL + Mouse Wheel change zoom level !

Question: SHIFT+ Mouse wheel work fine into gwenview for you ?

Shift+MouseWheel works in Preview mode and Image Editor.

i download Gwenview and wheel mouse work well.

note that with the rpm of digikam 9.3 Shift + mouse wheel  work

CTRL + Mouse wheel dosen't zoom ;-(

Sound like a difference between your pre-compiled Qt library and your Qt devel files (perhaps a configuration file from Qt to deal with your X11 to handle CTRL and SHIFT keys)

I have no idea to solve this issue.

I'm using Mandriva 2008.0 and Mandriva 2008.1. Of course, as developper, digiKam  is fully compiled here... and SHIFT+Mouse wheel work fine (:=)))

Something is badly configured in your computer, but what ?

wheel mouse work in diporama mode

why SHIFT + Wheel mouse or CTRL + Wheel mouse doesn't work. :-(

I download and install all libary with drakconf.

after the post of Gilles Caulier i test in gwenview and it work but i dont test in other kde application.

yesterday i try with other application and the shortcuts Shit+ wheel mouse dosen't work.
I retry in gwenview and it work but in gwenview and Shift + Wheel mouse work but wheel mouse work alone.

so there no bug in dogikam the porblème is due to configuration bug il my linux distribution
