Summary: Support for picture import through the OBEX protocol
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.9.3
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: nicolas.degand laposte net

Version:           0.9.3 (using 3.5.8, Debian Package 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-7 (lenny/sid))
Compiler:          Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24-1-amd64

I use my mobile phone for taking my pictures. I can access them using the OBEX protocol with kbluetooth. For tighter integration with digikam, it would be nice if this protocol was handled in the same way as a USB/IEEE mass storage. You could use kbluetooth to provide connectivity.

Best regards,

Nicolas,

digiKam do not have any camera/protocol drivers. It use libgphoto2 for that.

I recommend to post your request on gphoto2 bugzilla instead...

Best

Gilles Caulier
