You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156007 Summary: Canon Raw+Jpg Locks up download image window during thumbnail retrieval Product: digikam Version: unspecified Platform: Gentoo Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org ReportedBy: garyssubscribedemail gmail com Version: 0.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc 4.1.2 OS: Linux How to Reproduce: Using Canon EOS 350D (Digital Rebel XT in US, I think): Take photos in JPG OR RAW mode, then some more photos in RAW+JPG. When you go to Camera -> 350D to download, you should find that when the thumbnails are being downloaded for the RAW+JPG sets, the download process freezes and data is no longer being sent from the camera. Well, when trying to get more information for what was a bug, I just found gphoto2 is what is crashing (only during thumbnail view). I've changed this to a wishlist item: Currently, digikam simply hangs but it would be nicer if it stopped attempting to download thumbnails and popped up an error messages. Downloads still work, however. Should be able to reproduce with any Canon camera that can take RAW+JPG. Gphoto2 Bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1873886&group_id=8874&atid=108874 I apologise if still including this is annoying, I had come so far in this bug report to give up already. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
