Summary: Convert image on copy from camera.
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.9.2
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: rjwgnr27 gmail com

Version:           0.9.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

After copying the JPEGS off my camera, I later convert them to a lossless format, to prevent further degradation on editing.  It would be convenient to specify this convertion in the camera tool.  So when I select download from camera, I can specify target format (like TIFF or PNG).

It's already implemented in 0.9.2. Look into Camera Gui settings sidebar tab...
