I like to brows my pictures "album independent". Which means if I search for example for something I don't like digkam to sort it by album it just should show me all the results sorted by date, size, rating or what ever but not sorted by album. Same problem applies to given tags that I look for. For example if digikam shows me all the pictures with the tag "landscape" I get all the pictures but again, sorted by album and no way to turn it of.

To me this sounds very much like a duplicate of bug 134389
(see also bug 116606).
Sam, do you think that your wish is covered by bug 134389?
