You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151233 Summary: Show statistics for all images in (sub-)folders Product: digikam Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org ReportedBy: bug christianmayer de Version: 0.9.2-final (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I'd like to be able to show statistics about all images in an selected folder (with the ability to select multiple folders at the same time...) Especially I'm interested about: - how is the distribution of focal lengths (directly and converted to a normal cameral w/o crop) => should I buy a wide angle or an tele next... - how it the distribution of used aperture => can I get the f/4 or do I need an f/2.8 lens next... There are tools that give me that information through the command line, but integrated in digikam would be great (and doesn't the new database scheme support exactly such an query?) _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

So I only want an "histogram" of the information in ImageMetadata for all pictures in the selected folder(s). _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Moreover, it can become very spiked. And a separation according to lenses would be helpful as well. Also: where should one put such a statistical information? Maybe another side-bar could carry the needed plots, together with a selection of all lenses or specific lenses. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Yes, that's not that easy. If there's no easy way to determine the width (I'd *try* e.g. (max-min)/10 or 20...) it could be made setable. A custom query could help here. How many pictures have a focal length > 100mm? > Moreover, it can become very spiked. Why not? I'm interested in the values and not in an "pretty" histogram... > And a separation according to lenses would be helpful as well. As an option/filter: yes. But *I* am mainly interested in all pictures at once (as I want to decide which type of lens I should buy next) > Also: where should one put such a statistical information? I was thinking of a right click context menu (e.g. named "Statistics") - but an side bar also would be fine. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
