Hi Carlo. Your results kind of alarmed me, so I went back and checked over some
things. It's been quite awhile since I multithreaded Energy_Map(), so I rebuilt
it running without any threads. To my surprise, I gained a significant
performance boost. I hope I haven't wasted too much of your time on this.
At this point I'm out of ideas.
