Exiftime does not compile for me, but I tried this by entering a wrong creation
date into the database for an image.
I then called Right Sidebar -> More -> Read metadata from file to database, and
the creation date is updated. The relevant code was changed one or two weeks
ago.
Which testcase does not work for you?
