Another question: After reading this a second time, I wonder if this is about
assigning a profile or not rather converting, or both?
- Assign: Changes profile, interpretation of image data and appearance, but not
the image data; required when the assigned color profile is wrong or an image
without assigned profile is loaded assuming the wrong profile.
- Convert: Changes profile and image data, appearance is unchanged.
