Stibbons, probably there is an exposure number (and a kamera serial number) in
the EXIF information.
My Nikon has (in makernotes)
Serial Number 40xxx93
Shutter Count 29287 (Yes, it is correct!)
With these two you can identify each exposure and it is probably the best way
to link images together. Thanks for reminding me.
