Summary: Ability to search through image comments
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: hetierj6 cti ecp fr

Version:           0.7.2-4build3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
OS:                Linux

I think it would be great if searching through comments was possible.
Almost all my images have comments like "Me trying to ski" or "A nice deep blue flower" and I would really like being able to find for exemple all photos that have "mum" and "birthday" in the comments...
Thanks.

Hi, you can search in version 0.8.0, which is stable for a while. 0.7.2 is ancient ;-)
