You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115125 Summary: whitebalance: remaining endianess issue on ppc Product: digikamimageplugins Version: unspecified Platform: Debian testing OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org ReportedBy: wolfi mittelerde physik uni-konstanz de Version: 0.8.0-0beta2-1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux Hi, I reported an endianess bug in the whitebalance plugin to debian's BTS and got the advice to check if it is present in the 0.8beta and report back here. In the 0.8.0-0beta2-1 packages from debian experimental the plugin works much better, but one issue remains. I'm not sure if it's a bug or a change in the algorithm (aka feature) though: When I move the saturation slider to the left the picture becomes yellow/white, not black/white as I expected. In others words, i will be great if you can give a general feedback about the next digikam major version (0.9.0) and PPC compatibility before to release a first beta1 (planed to May normally) In this release, we support 16 bits images color depth. We have removed imlib2 depency and build a new API named DImg in digikam core to manage image data and metadata. It's completly different than 0.8.x serie. It's also a very big work to do and finalize (:=)))... If you want more informations about, please take a look in digikam web project page...
