Batch tool - Conversion to JPG produces a strange extension

tosca
Using the batch tool in Digikam 1.6.0.
I don't understand why the conversion from PNG to JPEG produce a file with a 'pgf' extension.
And how can I change this to get a 'normal' 'jpg' instead.

Thanks for your answer,
Marie-Noëlle

This might be part of the answer: there are 2 tools named 'Conversion in JPEG', one being the first, the other being the last of the conversion tools list.
When I choose the first one, the proposed extension is 'jpg'.

Might there be a wrong translation for the last one?

yes, it's certainly the problem.

PGF is another lossless image format based on Wavelets compression, as JPEG2000, but fully opensource and without any patents.

Thanks for the link. I have recommended it to several friends.
Still have to see if it is recognized by Scribus and Piwigo, though.
