Attempting PTP transer from Nokia phone causes crash

I've got a Nokia 6220 classic phone that I've been trying to transfer photos
from using PTP. In Kubuntu 8.04 and 0.9.4 this works no problems, but in both
9.04 using 10.0 alpha 3 and 9.10 using 10.0 alpha 5 it doesn't work and
Digikam crashes.

This is what dmesg shows with 10.0 alpha 5:

[  162.408932] usb 2-3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[  213.209821] digikam[1765]: segfault at a1adf000 ip 01673006 sp a5bb8988

Sorry, that should read 1.0.0 alpha 3 and 1.0.0 alpha 5 respectively.

libGphoto2 relevant. There is no PTP driver in digiKam

also crash appear in libc...
