Appimage section in Handbook?

Hello,

Does it make sense to add a section regarding the AppImage in the handbook?

I saved the following Questions and Answers and not sure where to post them.

Q: Appimage does not see Lut3D files

A: Copy the files to this folder in order for the appimage to be able to read them:

$HOME/.local/share/digikam/data/lut3d/

A: No, it's not a settings in digiKam. It use generic desktop settings currently.

A: Open /etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-server.cnf

Change dk settings hostname 'localhost' --> '127.0.0.1'

Q: How to launch digikam appimage with a different database   

A: You can launch the appImage with the following arguments:
--database-directory <dir>
--config <config>

Hi Andrey,

This entry is a good candidate for the documentation. It’s not specific to app image, but to lens fun tool. A new section must be written in handbook to describe the tool with this tip as extra info.
