Add comments to multiple pictures

Hallo

I thought that someone said something about digikams ability to enter a
comment not only for one picture but for many. I couldn't figure out how
that is gonna work.
Did I hear something wrong or what is the trick ?

I use digikam 0.9.0

Ahhh, by the way. I was curious about the GPS function. It doesn't seem
to be enabled in my version ( compiled from tarball ). How can I get
access to the GPS function ?
