Hi Gilles and others,
I am a new member of this list (using Digikam already several years), and would like to start to say; Thanks you !! Since a few weeks I am using a different scanner (HP Scanjet 8250), and am having problems with the AcquireImages plugin - the scanned area is roughly only A5 size. Where can I change this setting? With my old scanner, I could scan the full A4 area. A4 scanning in XSane or gscan2pdf works fine. Thanks, Arnaud My environment: Ubuntu 15.10 Gnome Digikam 4.14.0 Photo collection on Synology NFS mounted drive (turned @eadir folder and thumbnail creation off) Database: MySQL (MariaDB on Synology) _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Hi, As i know, the scanner settings is passed to the tool by sane backend which has all scanner module codes. The digiKam code only get the scanner list available and the relevant settings. Mostly the job is done by libksane Qt interface (libsane is C code). By the job, i want mean to show in GUI all settings accordingly with libsane info. So typically, all the settings that you want is in libsane. There is nothing to setup in digiKam ore libksane. Thanks Gilles. I'll investigate this further, and when I find a
solution, I'll report it back here.
I have the same problem with a PC running Kubuntu, using the skanlite tool. When doing a preview only a small area is being scanned. Doing a scan, without prescan scans the whole area. This only happens with my HP Scanjet 8250 (avision), not with my HP Officejet 5610 (hpaio). Regards, Arnaud On 04/28/2016 05:46 AM, Gilles Caulier
