Hi, I have now in my possession a Sony NEX-5T. I'm on openSUSE 13.1 KDE 4.10.x. I have built digiKam by myself. /Anders _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Yes I know that but it would be convenient to import the videos when importing photos. And organise them with digiKam. Den 1 feb 2014 10:04 skrev "jdd" <[hidden email]>:

Hi,
With digiKam 3.5.0, all is always ready to organize video as photo. The missing section is to search video properties in DB, implemented in 4.0.0 In all case, you need Exiv2 version out last Christmas 2013 to handle and set video metadata as with photo. AVCHD video can be played in preview mode if right GStreamer plugin is installed for KDE Phonon player, used by digiKam. There is no video player/codec in digiKam. All is delegate to Phonon component. In digiKam, there is no video editor too. Use right 3rd party application to do it. Kdenlive is no too bad for this task. I have libavcodec52, libavcodec54 and libavcodec55 installed but no luck so far. digiKam don't see the MTS files. /Anders

FYI! I had to add mts to known filetypes for movies in the configuration. Under MIME types. Now digiKam sees the movies!2014-02-02 17:13 GMT+01:00 Anders Stedtlund <[hidden email]>:
