Hi,
All of a sudden if I attempt to use the aspect ratio crop tool then my machine almost freezes (only solution is to log to text console - very slow to happen - then kill the digikam process. All other functions appear to work normally. Any suggestions most welcome. Do you have any more information on the image (raw, tiff, jpeg, size, ...), or is it completely independent of the image? Greetings all...
Here's what I'm trying to do. I used to use digikam to rename and resize entire directories of photos (via the batch menu). Now, since I have upgraded and now it doesn't work. The menu is empty. I have re-emerged digikam, plugins, etc... I can't get it to work at all. Now. I did get 0.9.2 installed, the plugins were blocking them, so I had to un-emerge the plugins. After 0.9.2 emerged, when I emerged the plugins, it downgraded digikam back to 0.9.1? Even before the downgrade, the batch menu was empty. So, now I'm at 0.9.1 with no batch menu. Any help would be great please. screenshots: http://strickstuff.com/digikam.html I'm running Sabayon Linux 3.4e x64 (Linux 2.6.22), 1 gig ram. thanks, -- James Strickland www.StrickStuff.com -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GO d- s+:+ a C++ UL P+ L+++ E- W++ N+ K- O- M- PS-- PGP+ t tv+ b- G e h---- y+++ ------END GEEK CODE BLOCK------ _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Seems to happen irrespective of the file size, just tried it on an elderly 1600x1200 jpg instead of the usual 3264x2448. James,
Are you installed "kipi-plugins" package with digiKam 0.9.2 ? (not digikamimageplugins witch have been merged to digiKam core with this release) Gilles Caulier 2007/10/9, James Strickland <[hidden email]>: Greetings all... _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Everyone, I still can't get the batch menu up and running.
I emerged 0.9.2 and have a stable version of kipiplugins (0.1.3-r1) installed and still a no go. The plugins are enabled. I tried the full-screen mode and still a no-go. Any ideas on what I can do? -Thanks, James... On Tue, 2007-10-09 at 12:33 +0200, Gilles Caulier wrote: > James, > > Are you installed "kipi-plugins" package with digiKam 0.9.2 ?
