Are people still having the problem reported early with 4.x, where after resizing the image, it can never be viewed at the correct percentage (it's always scaled and looks terrible), until the image is saved and re-opened? I kept seeing how this was supposed to be fixed in each new version, and I'm still having the same problem with 4.3 on Fedora.
I saw some mention that this was related to a particular opencv issue, but it doesn't make sense that this would be mentioned in the Digikam changelog, if it was actually an opencv issue. I'm just trying to figure out if this continues to be something with the Fedora build, if it's a Digikam problem, or if it's some bad setting that is carrying over from version to version. Thanks, Vern _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

FYI
I have just now tested the latest patch in this bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=335661 I applied it on digiKam 4.5.0 and it works for me. It also seems to solve the problem I have had with before/after preview on e.g. sharpening and local contrast tools. /Anders 2014-09-29 14:50 GMT+02:00 Anders Lund <[hidden email]>: > Dk 4.x is still very confused wrt image zoom, also in the editor tools. > > Anders > > Mandag den 29. september 2014 12:40:44 skrev Wilkins, Vern W: >> Are people still having the problem reported early with 4.x, where after >> resizing the image, it can never be viewed at the correct percentage (it's >> always scaled and looks terrible), until the image is saved and re-opened? >> I kept seeing how this was supposed to be fixed in each new version, and >> I'm still having the same problem with 4.3 on Fedora. >> >> I saw some mention that this was related to a particular opencv issue, but >> it doesn't make sense that this would be mentioned in the Digikam >> changelog, if it was actually an opencv issue. >> >> I'm just trying to figure out if this continues to be something with the >> Fedora build, if it's a Digikam problem, or if it's some bad setting that >> is carrying over from version to version. >> >> Thanks, >> Vern >> _______________________________________________ >> Digikam-users mailing list >> [hidden email] >> https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users > > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-users mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

And it's getting better and better it seems. Without this patch I had
problems with manual selection in some scenarios, e.g. not cutting to selection after a rotation, but that's not a problem with the patch. /Anders 2014-11-23 10:57 GMT+01:00 Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]>: > perfect.
