hello
since a few days deleting a picture in main view does the deletion but you can still view the thumbnail in the thumnail list, and even see it in large (if it is in the cache) if you move to it. deleting again triggers a 'file does not exist' popup, and i can find the deleted picture in the trash. i think this is a recent bug which was not in 2.0 (last version for which i'm pretty sure) but i would say 3 or 4 weeks max I use the current git version -- Pierre _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

It sound like a problem with KDElibs, especially the component
KDirWatch which dipatch changes from albums to digiKam. This problem have been already seen in bugzilla with some configuration ( as Ubuntu/Gnome desktop if i remember) Gilles Caulier 2011/10/7 Pierre Hanser <[hidden email]>: > Le 06/10/2011 11:55, Pierre Hanser a écrit : >> hello >> >> since a few days deleting a picture in main view does the deletion >> but you can still view the thumbnail in the thumnail list, and even >> see it in large (if it is in the cache) if you move to it. >> >> deleting again triggers a 'file does not exist' popup, and i can find >> the deleted picture in the trash. >> >> i think this is a recent bug which was not in 2.0 (last version for >> which i'm pretty sure) but i would say 3 or 4 weeks max >> >> I use the current git version >> > > in fact i see this on albums with more than 200 raw pictures. > > no problem in small albums. > > or may be no problem at all if i wait enough, but for a really long > value of 'enough' > > -- > Pierre > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-devel mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel > Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
