Great news! I have 1.0 compiled and running on Mac OS X 10.6. Yay!
Bad news! Whenever I try to move or copy a file within digiKam, it crashes with no explanation why. I can create folders without a problem, just can't drop pictures into those folders. I can also save changes (tags) to the pictures without a problem... so... I dunno. Is this a known issue or is it something I should be putting in the tracker? _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Can you take a backtrace using gdb ?

I can't get any kind of a trace out of it. If I copy a file instead of move it, the crash handler catches it, but seems to be unable to generate a trace (I let it run for about 20 minutes).
I have no experience with gdb... Hrm. Dolphin crashes on moves, too. I suppose this isn't really a digiKam problem.

I got a working "digiKam 1.0 rc" on Mac OS 10.5 (PPC) installed via MacPorts. I suppose you also use MacPorts? If so you might want to report your bug there. If not, you can try again using MacPorts... here is a little report on my experience with it: http://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/macports-users/2009-December/018020.html Just four hours ago the "regular" digiKam Port was updated to version 1.0.0! http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23063 _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
