One issue which probably isn't worth a BKO report - the dialog for saving files provides a preview option (although the size of the preview is too small to be very useful). This preview also provides photographic data, but the data is presented badly. Fixed parts of the information are appearing twice, eg: - shows Aperture as "f/F6.3" - Focal as "50.0 mm mm" - Exposure "1/1/500 s s" cheers, Tauri _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

The preview size was too small for me the first time I opened the dialogue, but after stretching the window to a larger size it is OK. And the new larger window size 'sticks' for subsequent use. > This preview also provides photographic data, > but > the data is presented badly. Hi Gille and team,
It compiles fine on Kubuntu Hardy (8.04), 64bit. From what I've checked, it works OK too. Thanks for all the work and progress! One little problem in converting files (batch-->convert images): tags are not fully assigned to the new file. The tags do appear in Metadata-->Edit IPTC, but they do not appear in the thumbnail so I'm concerned they are not added to the digikam database. The caption does transfer to the new format. This is for tiff->jpeg and png->jpeg, all that I've tested. Lawrence On Sat, 24 May 2008 11:55:59 +0200, "Gilles Caulier" <[hidden email]> said: > Hi all, > > It's time to release 0.9.4-beta5. Otherwise, from the page http://www.digikam.org/?q=docs the links to the pages Digikam and Showfoto PDF seem broken. Thanks for all the work Bonne journée _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
