0.9.1 open image in new window

Florian Ehinger
Hi

after installing digikam 0.9.1 I recognized, that when I click on a image it
is displayed in the same window.
Since I have two monitors I prefer it the old way. Is it still possible to
change the behavior, so that after clicking on an image it is displayed in a
new window?

Thank You
  Florian

Gilles Caulier-4
Look there is an option in Setup/general...

also, you have :

F3 = preview
F4 = edit

Hi Gilles

Thank you for your respond.

Hmm, there is no menu Setup or general in my digikam version and in
the "normal" settings dialog I can not find such an option.

Bye

Settings -> Configure digikam -> Album Settings

At the bottom there is a item "click action". This is set to "show
embedded preview" by default, change to "start image editor"

Ok thank you! Now I found it. The German translation for this entry is not
very clear.
It is "Aktion auswählen" - "Choose action" with the entry "Eingebettetes
Profil anzeigen" which means sth. like "show embedded profile"

I think It should be changed to "Aktion bei Mausklick" with the
entry "Vorschau im Hauptfenster anzeigen" or "Eingebettete Vorschau anzeigen"

Bye
